I dream of Caesar- Calpurina's Dream

I was walking through a field when suddenly I came upon a group of about men, they were talking among themselves. I step close to listen in on their conversation, but I can't get close enough to hear it all. I catch words like Caesar, to powerful, tomorrow, death. I get worried and run from these people as I look back I recognize some of them. One is Brutus and another Cassius, I suddenly recognize all the faces. I scream in terror that these men, close friends of my Caesar, might be planning on killing him. I go to my house to tell my beloved husband, Caesar, that he cant go near these men. When I get there he can't be found. Suddenly I get a vision of an animal sacrifice with no heart to be found; I can't help to wonder if this is more sign about my husbands death. I run into a room and there I see a fountain of blood and my husbands body next to it with stab wounds all over him. I scream and run to he, I drop down beside him and weep. Suddenly I am having a vision of the men I saw earlier, were stabbing him. I am so terrified I run for a long time till I far away from it all. I sit down in this empty field and cry. Suddenly a ghost is in front of me and I realize it is my husband. I am so confused and then I faint.....everything turned black.

I suddenly wake up, soaked with sweat and I am looking around for Caesar. He is right beside me and at that moment I know I am awake. I can't help to wonder what my dream may mean. Caesar is staring at me. I tell him I am fine and try to back to sleep.

Inna's Ceh Etter Leh - Letter to Brutus

Dear mighty and powerful Brutus,

I have written to you because I know you care for Rome and wouldn't let anything happen to our home. You must stop Caesar before he gets to powerful! He may destroy and take over Rome and no one wants this! We all believe you can stop the horrible Caesar before he becomes like the other kings. Would you really let our home fall into the hands of a tyrant.

Brutus think to yourself would you want to be controlled like a slave to Caesar? Brutus we need you on our side. We need to stop him, he is like a snake in an egg waiting to hatch into an poison killing machine.

Some people may think him rejecting the crown says he is a good person, but I and many others could see that every time he rejected the crown he wanted it more and more. Caesar is power hungry. He is attempting to convince us other wise but it is not working. You can see in his eyes all he wants is the power and control.

Most of us, except the foolish ones, want you to stop Caesar and soon. Mighty and powerful Brutus please help us! Make the right choice!

Sincerely,

The People of Rome

Hey!!! http://morganmcinnes.blogspot.com

Catching Fire

1. The author of catching fire is Suzanne Collins. She has written The Hunger Games the first book in a series before Catching fire. She has also wrote The Underland Chornicles (which has 7 books) and a picture book called When charlie Mcbutton Lost Power. She has been writing since 1991. She has helped with writing some T.V shows such as Clarissa Explains it All , The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, Little bear and Oswald. Also she co-wrote the Christmas special Santa baby. Suzanne was recently the head writer for Scholastic Entertainment’s Clifford’s Puppy Days.

2. Catching Fire the sequel to the book The Hunger games is about a girl named Katniss and her partner Peeta from the Hunger games. They are just arriving back at district 12 form the Capitol, they are seeing family and friends the haven't seen in about a month. There is a small celebration in their district. Since they are the winners they will go to the other 11 districts and have a celebration with them too. Katniss and Peeta won the games by disobeying the capitol because originally there only ever was suppose to be 1 winner; Katniss didn't want Peeta to die so they pretended to eat these berries that would kill them both. Then the capitol still wanted a winner so they claimed they both won. The president was very unhappy and forced Katniss into false love and unhappiness. What Katniss did with the berries was the beginning of uprising all through out the distracts. The president was unhappy and didn't like what Katniss had started, so for the 75 quell hunger games he sent one boy and one girl tribute from every district back to the games. This meant since Katniss was the only girl from district 12 to ever win she had to be sent back into the hunger games and peeta volunteered to go back into the games. So after training and they were sent into the games. Yet, something happens and the games ended with an explosion.

3. The setting of the book doesn't really give an exact time and place because it is made up and it doesn't tell anything really about the setting. However, I think the atmosphere in Catching Fire has so many different feelings to it; at points I was happy, surprised, sad, disappointed, and frightened. I was happy about them winning and coming home from the hunger games, surprised by what people were doing through out the districts, disappointed when Katniss doesn't respond to people the way I hope she would, disappointed and frightened when Katniss and Peeta were sent back into the hunger games. I would give you more details but I don't want to spoil the book to much!

4. Katniss is the main character of the book Catching Fire. She is a teenager and her father had died when she was young in a mining accident. She took over his role and helped her family get though everything. Katniss has a friend named Gale who's father had also died in the mining accident; they help each other out and teach each other different techniques when they go hunting outside of distract 12. Which is forbidden by the Captiol but distract 12 is one of the more ruin down distracts so they can sneak out with out being caught. Anyways, I would have to say Katniss is caring and adventurous. She is caring because she takes care of her family and sometimes even others, such as Gale's family, and in the hunger games she finds Peeta and won't leave him and tends to him when he is hurt. Also, adventurous because she is always out hunting in the forest and going to lake. Katniss is a outdoor person always searching for new places.

5. I LOVED READING CATCHING FIRE and the book before it in the series The Hunger Games!! I loved everything about this book, there was nothing I dislike about it. I would suggest this series to anyone I know!
